Foundayo™ (orforglipron) is an FDA-approved GLP-1 pill for weight management, made by Eli Lilly. Unlike GLP-1s built from peptides, it's a small molecule — which is what lets it work as a flexible once-daily tablet you can take any time of day, with no needles.
Like other GLP-1 medications, Foundayo™ works with your body's own signals to ease appetite, helping you feel full sooner, and slowing how quickly your stomach empties. Paired with balanced eating and regular movement, that makes it easier to stay consistent.
Flexibility. Foundayo™ can be taken any time of day, with or without food — no empty-stomach window, no waiting before you eat, no water rules. That sets it apart from other oral GLP-1 options, which have to be taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
Most GLP-1s are small, once-weekly injections designed for at-home use. Your provider and pharmacy team will share clear instructions to make sure you feel confident and comfortable before starting.
If you decide to pause or stop treatment, your provider will create a thoughtful transition plan to help maintain your results and confidence. We believe lasting progress comes from consistent care, not quick fixes — and transitions are part of that journey.
Once your provider verifies your identity, reviews your health history, and approves your prescription, we’ll send your order to our pharmacy. Pharmacy processing takes 2–4 business days. After it ships, delivery to your home typically takes 3–5 days via FedEx or UPS.
In rare periods of high volume, timelines can extend. If that happens, or if you have any questions, please reach out to our Patient Services team. We are always happy to help!

The Wegovy® Pill is the first FDA-approved GLP-1 pill for weight management. It's the same medicine as the well-known weekly Wegovy® injection (semaglutide) in a once-daily tablet, so you can manage your weight without needles.
Same active ingredient, different rhythm. The injection is once a week; the pill is once a day, with a specific morning routine (more on that below). The pill tends to suit people who'd rather not inject. Your provider can help you decide which format fits your life.
In its clinical trial, adults taking the pill lost an average of 13.6% of their body weight at 64 weeks. In a separate trial, the injection averaged 14.9% at 68 weeks. Those come from different studies, not a head-to-head comparison, and individual results vary. Your provider can talk through what's realistic for you.
Once a day, first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. Take it with no more than 4 oz of plain water, then wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking anything else, or taking other medications. Swallow it whole. Don't split, crush, or chew.
Skip the missed dose and take your next one as scheduled the following day. Don't double up to make up for it.
Most are digestive and strongest early on, easing as your body adjusts. Nausea, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, and stomach pain are the common ones. Your provider starts you low and increases the dose gradually to keep things manageable. Tell your care team if anything feels severe or won't let up.
